  Anstead is a sparsely populated outlying rural acreage community around 20km south-west of Brisbane's CBD.

The suburb is surrounded by waterways and its large blocks of land make for a peaceful lifestyle.

Like nearby Pullenvale and Brookfield, acreage living is the main attraction in the suburb; however, its greater distance from the Brisbane CBD make land prices more affordable.
